  • reflex osteochondrosis (most often caused by intense physical exertion).

In this case, reflex osteochondrosis of the lumbosacral region is of the following types:

  • low back pain - occurs due to careless, clumsy movements or heavy lifting. It is characterized by strong pulls in the lumbar region;
  • low back pain - is a consequence of constant physical exertion and sitting in an uncomfortable position. It develops slowly and gradually, it is chronic;
  • lumboschialgia is characterized by vegetative-vascular, muscle-tonic and neurotrophic manifestations. A distinctive feature of this disorder is pain in the lower back, which emits back pain and aching pains in the lower limbs.

Lumbar osteochondrosis: symptoms

Back pain is a characteristic symptom of lumbosacral osteochondrosis. Furthermore, in patients suffering from lumbar osteochondrosis, these symptoms can also appear in the lower limbs.

Also, this disease is accompanied by:

  • tingling in the legs;
  • numbness of the lower limbs;
  • cold and spasms of the feet;
  • sweating disorder.
